2 Hats Stolen From Walt Whitman Shops Store In 3 Days: Police

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk police are investigating two thefts at Saks Fifth Avenue in Huntington Station this week.

A man and woman stole an MCM hat and other merchandise from Saks Fifth Avenue in the Walt Whitman Shops on Tuesday, police told Patch. The two dropped the additional merchandise and fled with the hat, police said.

A man and woman stole an MCM hat from Saks Fifth Avenue on Thursday, police said.

In both thefts, the two drove off in a BMW, police said.

Officers are investigating whether or not the two thefts are connected and whether they are connected to thefts at other businesses in the area, police said.
