The second half of WWE’s Superstar Shakeup took place on Smackdown last night. The night saw members of the Raw roster officially get traded to WWE’s show on Tuesday nights. WWE talents such as Asuka, Big Cass, The Bar, and Samoa Joe will now be competing on Smackdown going forward, but what about NXT call-ups? Former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre was officially promoted to the Raw brand earlier this week and he appears to be involved in a new partnership with Dolph Ziggler. Who will be leaving NXT to join Smackdown? During last night’s edition of the show, it was revealed that there are actually a couple of NXT talents will be getting called up very soon.
Fresh off of losing the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover: New Orleans during WrestleMania weekend, it was revealed that Andrade “Cien” Almas will be coming to Smackdown. Almas could potentially be the next big Latin star that WWE has been searching for over the past few years as he has been involved in plenty of great matches during his time with NXT. Andrade also appeared in the men’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year. During last night’s Smackdown show, Almas’ business associate, Zelina Vega, revealed that both she and Almas will be joining the Smackdown roster. Get ready to see “El Idolo” and Vega together on WWE’s main roster in the not too distant future.

That is still not the only main roster call-up that was unveiled during Smackdown. A vignette hyping up the arrival of SAnitY aired during the promo. Unfortunately, it appears as though the only female members of the group, Nikki Cross, will remain in NXT while the rest of SAnitY will be joining the Smackdown roster. Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain are former NXT Tag Team Champions who have achieved a lot during their time in WWE’s developmental system, but the trio is now promising to bring the chaos to Smackdown. There is currently no word on a debut date for SAnitY at the moment, but their arrival on the Smackdown roster is imminent.
