Shane McMahon was mentioned in a recent New York Post story about a convicted stock swindler, Calvin Dardon Jr., attempting to put together a fraudulent deal to purchase Maxim magazine.
According to the article, Darden Jr. attempted to put together a deal to buy the magazine, but was arrested on Wednesday when the news surfaced that he had lied to investors to raise money for the purchase.
Darden Jr. had apparently given investors the impression that his wealthy father was going to buy the magazine, and was attempting to defraud McMahon out of a reported $20 million.
