“Progress continues at Carriage Greens Country Club with their renovation,” Alderwoman Mary Sullivan said at a City Council meeting. “It’s really coming together very, very nicely. I know I’m excited and the community’s excited to be able to go back over there and enjoy all the amenities.”
Patch left a message for comment Tuesday with Carriage Greens co-owner Brian Broderick. The new establishment will be called On Par Sports Bar, according to the club.

In June, a judge allowed Carriage Greens Country Club to evict its restaurant operator, Carriage Greens F and B, owed by Heidi Revelis.
Last fall, the club and Revelis sued each other, each claiming the other owed hundreds of thousands of dollars. Parts of that litigation continue.

At the council meeting, Mayor Joseph Marchese asked Sullivan whether the club wanted to hold a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony for the restaurant.
Sullivan said the club planned a soft opening first.
“They definitely were interested (in a ribbon-cutting), but they haven’t expressed a date,” she said. “They would like to get their doors open first and get things rolling.”
