Started this morning with a recap of the first seven Money in the Bank matches in the WWE. We keep the train rolling with the next six matches from the Miz and Randy Orton to Seth Rollins inserting himself into a match at Wrestlemania.

Title won: WWE Championship
Orton and the Miz were intertwined throughout this one, from Orton being inches away from winning the MiTB contract, to then losing it to the Miz
9 – Daniel Bryan – 2011
Won contract: Money in the Bank 2011 def. Wade Barrett, Kane, Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Justin Gabriel, and Heath Slater

Special Notes:

The first time he tried to cash-in against Mark Henry on November 25th SmackDown was nullified for the first ever reverting of a cash-in decision.

Title won: WWE Championship
Del Rio used trying to unmask Mysterio to win his first MiTB contract
11 – Dolph Ziggler – 2012
Won contract: Money in the Bank 2012 def. Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Christian, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara, Tensai, and Santino Marella
Special Notes:

Beat Chris Jericho in a “Career vs Contract” match on August 20th Raw and ended Jericho’s career (that went on for another seven plus years)
Defended the contract against John Cena at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2012

Cashed in: April 8th, 2013 Raw def. Alberto Del Rio
Title won: World Heavyweight Championship
The “fighting Mr. Money in the Bank” defended the contract twice (for the first time ever)
12 – Randy Orton – 2013

His contract match was dubbed the “Money in the Bank All-Stars” having three previous (and one future) MiTB champions in it.

Title won: WWE World Heavyweight Championship
The (still) longest ever (men’s) contract holder in history was worth the wait as Rollins inserted himself into the championship match in Wrestlemania to win the title.
