Grayson Waller suffered broken leg in his last WWE NXT match

Grayson Waller has confirmed why he's been out of action for the last two months.

Waller tweeted out a promo on Tuesday where he revealed that he suffered a broken leg in his final match for NXT this April. Waller lost to NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes at Spring Breakin' on April 25.

"My last match on NXT against Carmelo Hayes, I broke my leg," Waller announced. "Clean break of the fibula."

Shortly after he suffered the injury, Waller was called up to the main roster in the WWE Draft. He joined the SmackDown roster but hasn't been able to compete in the ring since his call-up. Instead, he's hosted his Grayson Waller Effect talk show with guests like Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles.

"Am I just a talk show host now? If I was, I guarantee I'd be the greatest talk show host in the history of this company," Waller said. "But as good as I am on The Grayson Waller Effect, as good as I am on the microphone — I'm better in the ring."

Waller said he's been doing everything he can over the last eight weeks to make sure he's in the best shape of his life when he returns. Waller said he doesn't owe it to the fans to tell them when he'll be able to return to the ring. He'll give an answer very soon, but he'll do it on his time.

Paul, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Damian Priest, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, and Butch are the participants for this year's men's Money in the Bank ladder match.
