Medical Student Failed In Exam & Demanded Fee From His Girlfriend For Distracting Him

A 21-year old student of Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery was booked by city police on charges of extortion, criminal intimidation and cheating after he blamed his girlfriend for his poor results and started demanding money for compensating him for the fees he paid for the first year of his course.

The student, who hails from Beed district, gained admission to the BHMS course last year and studies at a college in Aurangabad. His girlfriend is a classmate.

The suspect, though bright, did not focus on studies and failed in the first year, so he was denied admission to the second year of the four-year course.
