More on WWE Donating Money To Local Knox County Foundation

While his political opponents will no doubt argue that Glenn Jacobs (Kane) working The Crown Jewel Event is not appropriate given the human rights and other issues surrounding the treatment of women, WWE has made a significant political donation, at Kane’s request, to minimize the backlash.

The timing of the donation and by saying that it was at Kane’s request is a way to mitigate any political damage as the idea is that WWE is helping the local community and that Kane, as mayor, was a key figure in making that happen which makes him look good in the eyes of the public.

Neither WWE nor Kane stated any specifics on his involvement in wrestling, apart from already being announced as in the corner of The Undertaker at The Australian Super Show-Down Event, but the plan is for him to wrestle at Crown Jewel and possibly other appearances here and there as needed.
