Commander Abhilash Tomy who was critically injured during the Golden Globe race last month is on the path to recovery after he underwent a successful back surgery in New Delhi.
The Navy Sailor, who was rescued by French Fishing Vessel Osiris, was initially shifted to Amsterdam and was brought back to Visakhapatnam on board the INS Satpura last week.
