Mumbaikars are always at the forefrontwhen it comes to cleaning of beaches. Remember Versova Beach? Something similar is now set to happen at the Dadar beach. On Earth Day, people of Mumbai have joined hands once again to step up efforts to clean its beaches and control marine pollution caused by plastic.
Taking inspiration from lawyer Afroz Shah’s efforts at Versova beach, which recently saw the return of Olive Ridley turtles after nearly two decades, following the cleanup job, actress Dia Mirza and Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray spent an hour at the Dadar beach.
