Last Monday night on RAW, Aleister Black & Ricochet defeated RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival in a Non-Title Match, moving them that much closer in getting an opportunity at The RAW Tag Team Titles. For weeks now, a Multi-Team Match has been rumored for The RAW Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 35, but it looks like it could only be The Revival defending The RAW Tag Team Titles against Aleister Black & Ricochet at WrestleMania 35. After RAW this past Monday night, 16-time World Champion John Cena took to his Instagram and posted a photoshopped image of Baron Corbin’s face on his body. The image seems familiar as this was when John Cena debuted on SmackDown and faced The Olympic Gold Medalist several years ago.
Cena, who was rumored to be facing Kurt Angle for his Farewell Match at WrestleMania 35 until Corbin was announced, previously shared an Instagram post of a fan sign that read, “Baron Corbin Is A Dumpster Fire.” There have been some rumors going around that WWE may be changing Angle’s final opponent due to negative reactions from fans, but Corbin vs. Angle is still scheduled as we go into next week’s WrestleMania 35 go-home edition of RAW.
