— After months of speculation, Rey Mysterio has reportedly signed his WWE contract according to sources. The length of the contract is said to be for two years with the option for Mysterio to give a notice to the company at the 18 month mark should he want out.
— Mysterio was seeking an 18-month contract from the beginning whereas WWE was hoping to sign him for three years. His return to WWE has long been presumed since his appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble back in April that went over extremely well with both fans and WWE officials.
— WWE has yet to announce the signing and thus it is unclear brand Mysterio will be wrestling on, but most signs point to it being on Smackdown Live.
