Although The Elite are just about finished with Ring of Honor, the promotion is still signing huge names such as PCO to exclusive contracts. ROH is still working on getting more names under deals at the moment. In fact, PWInsider has revealed that former WWE creative team member Kevin Eck has signed a deal to join the promotion as a full time writer. The site also notes that the Beer City Bruiser recently teased on Facebook that he could be starting a new chapter in his career after his ROH deal expires on December 31st. Although it is possible that he could end up re-signing with ROH within the next few weeks, there were some reports earlier this year claiming that WWE had taken an interest in signing him as soon as he becomes a free agent.
Impact Wrestling will be returning to The Asylum in Nashville, Tennessee in just a few more weeks for their appropriately named Homecoming pay-per-view. The venue is where it all began for the promotion several years ago, and during the show, there will be an Ultimate X match held in order to crown a new X Division Champion. During last night’s episode of Impact, oVe member Jake Crist squared off against Willie Mack in a qualifying match wherein the winner earned a spot in the Ultimate X match at the pay-per-view. Thanks to some interference from Sami Callihan, Crist was able to pick up the huge win. As a result of the victory, Crist will now be competing for the vacant title at Homecoming on January 6th, 2019.

WWE’s TLC pay-per-view is just around the corner, and the event will feature matches such as Baron Corbin vs. Braun Strowman in a TLC match, Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka in a TLC match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship. WWE just announced another match for the event yesterday, and it looks like Natalya will be facing Ruby Riott during the show. Nattie and Riott have had some issues on the latest episodes of Raw, but the two of them will now have the chance to settle the score in a tables match during the show. TLC will be airing live on the WWE Network on December 16th from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
