The NXT debuts continued this weekend at the non-televised live event in Venice, Florida. Four more WWE developmental talents made their debuts at Friday night’s show.
In an in-ring promo segment at the show last night in front of an estimated 400 fans at the Venice Community Center, Nick Comoroto (aka “The Freak Beast”), a Monster Factory trainee, was interrupted by another debuting talent, Brendan Vink.
Vink, formerly known as Elliot Sexton from Australia and The Trophy Life, went back-and-forth with him on the microphone until things culminated in a match. Vink would go on to defeat Comoroto in a singles match.
In the next match on the card, Humberto Carrillo and Raul Mendoza defeated Matt Lee and Jeff Parker. Lee and Parker, formerly known as “3.0” from Canada, was making their debuts in this tag-team bout.
After that, Eric Bugenhagen beat Luke Menzies in a one-on-one bout. Soon-to-be WWE Hall Of Famer Sean “X-Pac” Waltman then came out and took part in a post-match air-guitar celebration with Bugenhagen. He also cut a brief promo about being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of the 2019 class with D-Generation X.
