Smackdown Live Viewership Rises This Week

Changing the fate of what has been happening lately in the viewership of WWE programming, Tuesday Night’s Smackdown Live saw a rise in  their viewership numbers, generating an average audience of 2.328 million, up from last week’s 2.175 million.
Airing head-to-head against Smackdown Live for the last 90 minutes was Game Four of the NBA Eastern Conference between the Cavs and Celtics. This was stiff competition as the game averaged over 7 million viewers.

The fact that Smackdown Live was coming off of the Backlash PPV could have been the reason for the rise of viewership. But the only thing advertised for the show more than a day out was Jinder Mahal’s celebration.
Smackdown also achieved almost 90% of Raw’s viewers, which was the second highest number all year.
