Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly will defend the NXT Tag Team Championships for the first time at next weekend’s NXT Takeover: Philadelphia live special, and we can now confirm their opponents for the show. The Undisputed Era will put the titles on the line against none other than former champions, the Authors of Pain.
This will not be the first time these four men share a ring, and in fact both sides have become incredibly familiar with one another. You may recall that they tried to murder each other in a brutal, blood War Games match last November, just one day before WWE Survivor Series.
NXT general manager William Regal has also confirmed that Ember Moon will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler. The “Queen of Spades” made her WWE debut by placing second in the Mae Young Classic, and wasted little time getting revenge on Kairi Sane for that asterisk next to her name. She now sets her sites on the champion next weekend.
