WWE SmackDown video highlights: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn reunite

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have finally reunited.

After weeks of refusing to work with Zayn against The Bloodline, Owens came to Zayn's defense on SmackDown last night, saving him from a beatdown by The Usos. The show ended with Owens and Zayn hugging in the ring.

A confrontation between Zayn and Jey Uso took place in the main event segment of last night's episode. The war of words turned into a brawl when Jey attacked Zayn. Zayn initially had the advantage, but Jimmy Uso ran in to make it two-on-one. The Usos were attempting to injure Zayn when Owens' music hit. As they waited for Owens to come down the ramp, Owens entered the opposite side of the ring. He gave Jimmy a stunner and laid out Jey with a pop-up powerbomb.

Cody Rhodes brought Owens and Zayn out to the ring earlier in the show and tried to get them to reunite. But Owens declined and went to leave the arena. In the parking lot, Zayn told Owens that, no matter what's gone on between them, they're always going to be friends. Zayn said they're not just friends — they're brothers. And if Owens didn't want to talk to Zayn again, Zayn just wanted to let Owens know that he loves him.

A Tag Team title match with Owens & Zayn challenging The Usos is all but official for WrestleMania 39.
