One can argue that Millennials, a super fast generation, has the best of most things. We think differently, we work differently and we have a lot of other things that set us apart. Similarly, if we look at the statistics and facts on millennials, a lot of things we didn’t have a clue about can finally be revealed. And on that note, here are some eye-opening facts on millennials that no one told you about:
1. Millennials are staying single much longer than previous generations. According to a survey from the Pew Research Center, just 23% of adults ages 18-31 were married and living in their own households in 2012, as opposed to 56% in 1968.

2. Millennials are earning 20% less than their parents did. This is why they are delaying many life events like marriage and home ownership. The average worker in the 24-36 age group earns $10,000 (a little more than Rs 7 lakh) less than their parents’ generation did at the same age, which translates to roughly 20% less purchasing power.
