With everything coming under the roof of ‘modern’ day by day, the definition of love, romance and ‘dating’ have also changed for this generation. And no it isn’t getting easier for us. From freaking out immediately when someone says they like you to casually dating when you want to get serious, millennials have another set of problems when it comes to love.

1. We have set our standards high.

We are an uncompromising generation and it isn’t the worst thing. However, it does backfire at times without giving us a warning!

2. We always need to get along with each other’s friends.

Different people have different minds. Not getting along with each other’s friends create unwanted problems in a relationship. Because hey, if you don’t like my friends I might repel yours.

3. We either get attached easily or don’t bother at all. 

And it is a real issue. With often breakups everywhere, we are scared to commit but again we all are humans who crave for nothing but love!

4. Since social media exists, looks are becoming more and more important.

With the technological transition, we are being conditioned in such a way where a profile picture makes a lot of difference when it comes to dating.

5. We can easily come across as selfish.

Nobody has the time to sit and wait to read minds nowadays. So whatever it is, it is straightforward. This sometimes makes us look selfish.

6. We need a partner, not a parent.

If the other person is caring too much it’s too much for us to handle and taking that the other way around comes naturally.
