That time of the year is about to come when students be struggling with what stream they should opt for in class 11th. From asking their seniors to listening to their parents, the life-defining decision needs to made right now. This is what they think.  

However, taking up arts is what people think is the last option and not a priority. Since ages, people’s beliefs about humanities have not changed in fact continued to grow and now have become stereotypes.

1. You scored so well, why did you end up taking up arts?

Ah, excuse me, because I am interested in it. Is it not a good reason for you? Assuming arts would be the last option is plain annoying.

Like really? Just like everyone else, we study what we are supposed to, and that is how we get good marks.

Because my parents do not judge my choices like you. And it is my decision to study whatever I want. My parents are happy to let me decide my future.

There are a lot of other professions open to humanities students, people! It’s clearly a task for people to understand our career options. If they get to know, it might baffle them that some of those options can make me earn more than your precious engineers.
