    1. Read a book – Reading a book transports you into a new, fictional world. It lets you run your imagination and you break free from your original thoughts. Reading helps in calming you down and relaxes your otherwise occupied brain. So if you have had a long, tough day at work. Switch off from the world and pick a book that you’ve been wanting to read for a while. Or you can even pick a book you’ve already read and loved.

If you feel stressed out, forget everything and just take a nap. Try to fall asleep by keeping all distractions like your phone and laptop away from you.

    3. Meditate – Meditation connects you with your conscious. It’s the best way to gain self-realisation and become aware of what you really want in life. When you’re tired, your brain is filled with numerous thoughts, and meditation will help you arrange those thoughts, strategically and on priority.

    4. Create a journal – It really doesn’t matter if you like writing or not. Creating a journal will help you pen down the unspoken thoughts you’ve been having all day. Sometimes, when we write things down, they are clearer to us than before and that’s how creating a journal is like taking a mental vacation. Let go of your inhibitions, scribble, doodle, write a paragraph, write a sentence – it’s your journal and it’s up to you how you want it to be.

You know how there are songs that perfectly go with certain situation in your life, listen to them. Though, it’ll work better if those songs are attached to happy memories. If you know how to play an instrument, try doing that and create something of your own.
