Arrested Raptors fan doesn’t ‘remember’ vulgar Ayesha Curry remark

A Toronto Raptors fan busted for mischief late last week after directing a horrific on-air remark toward Ayesha Curry is no longer on the offensive.

“What I did was disgraceful; it was an alcohol-influenced situation,” Tristan Warkentin told the Toronto Sun. “To be honest, I don’t even remember being there but I am responsible for my own actions at the end of the day.”

Instead of potentially celebrating a Raptors NBA title throughout the summer, the 28-year-old Toronto resident will then appear in court, according to Toronto Police.

“I just wanted to let everyone know: Ayesha Curry, we’re going to f–k her in the p—y,” he had told CP24 outside the Raptors’ arena after the Warriors knotted up the Finals, 1-1, earlier this month.

Toronto Police say Warkentin had been asked for comment on the game and had been advised it would be broadcast on live television. Warkentin then ran away after unleashing what police are calling “obscene comments.”

Warkentin said his lawyer doesn’t think the police have much of a case over the vulgar language he launched against the popular wife of Golden State star Stephen Curry.

“There [are] no criminal charges that can be laid because of what happened,” Warkentin said.

Though he’d like to “reach out to Mr. and Mrs. Curry and that’s realistically who I feel I owe an apology to – and maybe Toronto.”

The Raptors lead the NBA Finals 3-1, and are one game away from winning their first title.
