Alligator spotted swimming with steak knife in head

“A steak knife was sticking out of his head.”

An alligator stunned Texas neighbors when it swam by their homes — with a massive knife sticking out of its noggin, according to a report.

Erin Weaver, who spotted the resilient reptile in her suburban Houston hood, said someone had likely stabbed it intentionally, according to Fox6now.

“I feel that somebody did this on purpose,” she told the station.“I want to get help for this alligator. I don’t want to see an alligator swimming around with a knife in its head and suffering.”

Wild footage shows the critter paddling around Orchard Lake with a horror movie-style knife plunged in deep in its scaly skull.

A Texas wildlife agency plans to check on the gator next week, according to the station.

But Weaver and her neighbors were left wondering who may have tried to turn the animal into gator meat.

“It looked like a steak knife that was sticking out of his head,” she said.

The big lizard will likely survive, officials said. Alligators, which have fast-healing antibiotic blood properties, are one of nature’s most resilient species.
