Kevin Durant is still on his scooter.
Durant was spotted in public for the first time since sending shockwaves through the NBA by signing with the Brooklyn Nets, using a scooter outside a SoHo hotel as he recovers from Achilles surgery.
The 30-year-old ruptured his right Achilles last month during the NBA Finals. He will miss most, if not all, of the 2019-20 season.
Durant left the Golden State Warriors after winning two NBA championships in three seasons to sign with Brooklyn.
