Andy Murray will give it all in Melbourne, says Annabel Croft

In an interview to Express the tennis presenter commented on physical condition ahead of the Australian Open. The British player said, in a press conference on Friday, that this years Australian Open or likely Wimbledon will be his last tournaments in his career.

I know Murray was comfortably beaten in a practice match he had with Djokovic, Croft recognized. And that wouldnt have done is confidence any good. But hes such a great competitor I have no doubt hell go out there and give it his all.

He loves the Australian Open. Hes got a great record here being in the final five times. Hell will have tremendous support, hes very popular with the Aussie crowds. But it is a really tough draw to start things off.

About the upcoming match between Murray and Roberto Bautista Agut, Croft added: Murray ordinarily gets the better of him, I dont think hes ever lost to him. But Bautista Agut will be coming into the event with a massive amount of confidence having played so well in Doha, beating Djokovic.

Ive always liked the way he plays, hes unbelievably quick across the court, someone who could have been a professional footballer, but he chose tennis instead, but hes got tremendous footwork. He does everything pretty well, a very neat and tidy player.
