Beating Rafael Nadal is tough for Berdych and any other player – Corretja

In an interview to Eurosport the former world No. 2 previewed the upcoming fourth round match between at the Australian Open. Corretja believes the Spaniard is the favourite.

Rafa faces a very dangerous opponent in the fourth round, the Czech Tomas Berdych: Rafa knows how dangerous Tomas can be. He has been playing very well this week, defeating some very good players and he knows that he has big weapons: a great serve, great forehand, nice backhand.

In my opinion, Rafa will head into the court being totally respectful towards Tomas but knowing that the legs movement will be one of the keys of the match because he is much faster than Tomas so that Berdych does not head into the game.

I think its necessary that the game becomes pretty quick so that Tomas can hurt Rafa and I believe it will be a very close match. But looking at the way Rafa is playing, it will be very difficult for Tomas and any other player.

Rafa is mixing very well with his forehand and hitting great backhands and good serves. He is playing at a high level, but against Berdych, I think he will play particularly well making him move and placing the ball on the line to make him tired.

Heading into the court every day, he will have better feelings. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
