An author, politician, former international civil servant and currently serving as Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Thiruvananthapuram, Shashi Tharoor is indubitably one of the smartest.

Over the years, Tharoor has managed to woo people with his wit, humour and impeccable command over English language. Words – like calumny, fatuous, snollygoster and bulwark – that we don’t use in our day-to-day life made for nonchalantly dropped word-bombs on Twitter. 

That said, we don’t need to extol about the ginormous vocabulary – something that compels even laureates to refer a dictionary. Recently, Tharoor took it to Twitter to share his ‘word of the day’ and tweets began pouring on his timeline.
