'Alexander Zverev was horrible at serving vs Milos Raonic' – Mats Wilander

The seven-time Grand Slam winner commented on very bad performance against Milos Raonic on Monday at the Australian Open. The Swede was also impressed by Raonics slice backhand from the baseline: Zverev was horrible at serving today.

Raonic hit 85% slice backhands, just 15% top spin. Very smart. A backhand with not much peace, and Zverev was really struggling. Milos is starting to use a lot of variety being helped by Goran Ivanisevic. On Raonic, said: He is such a tall guy and he decided to play hitting slice.

Thats the most surprising. In my opinion Milos won on the court but he won in the locker room with Ivanisevic because the tactic is the base in the locker room. After his loss, in press conference Zverev said: In the beginning, in the first set, after he broke me the second time, Im not playing well, but obviously tried.

I obviously tried to come back and obviously in the third set I started to play a little bit better, but, you know, it was a little bit too late already. I have been struggling with my second serve the whole week, actually.

I dont have a lot of rhythm on it, so I tried to figure that out, I tried to work on that. Hopefully I will be better next time. The 21-year-old only reached one Major quarter-final so far, at the 2018 French Open ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
