WWE will present a Red Carpet event live on the company’s YouTube channel at 6pm EST on April 6. The event takes place just one hour before the official 2019 Hall of Fame ceremony airs on the WWE Network.
The Hall of Fame is always a big deal for pro wrestling fans and this year is no different. That’s because WWE has finally chosen to honor the Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna. Chyna will be inducted as a member of D-Generation X, along with The New Age Outlaws, X-Pac, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
Other 2019 inductees include Harlem Heat, The Honky Tonk Man and The Hart Foundation.
Many pro wrestling insiders have debated the validity of WWE’s Hall of Fame, mostly because the inclusion process is ultimately up to Vince McMahon himself. That, combined with the fact that there is no physical Hall of Fame, causes a feeing of unimportance to exist among some fans who just do not understand why the ceremony even exists.
But for the majority of the WWE faithful, the Hall of Fame is indeed important. The same is true for the men and women whose names will forever be immortalized among the list of legends to have contributed to not only WWE, but to the pro wrestling world as a whole.
