*Update* Daniel Bryan Reportedly Has Not Signed A New WWE Deal

After a report surfaced online yesterday regarding Daniel Bryan signing a new WWE contract, Dave Meltzer has gone against it and claimed it hasn’t happened.

Prior to Extreme Rules, Fightful.com stated that Daniel Bryan had signed a new two-year contract with the company that would see him wrestle with WWE until at least 2020.

However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer took to Twitter to shoot down that report, stating that Daniel Bryan has not signed a contract and that nothing has changed in regards to his situation.

Daniel Bryan hasn’t signed. Nothing has changed.

Bryan, who lost at Extreme Rules against The Bludgeon Brothers, has commented himself to state that it is likely he will re-sign, but at the moment that hasn’t happened.

His current WWE deal is scheduled to expire in September, which would mean SummerSlam could be his last big PPV if he doesn’t re-sign with the company. As always, ProWrestling.com will keep you updated with this situation as it continues to develop.
