A 25-Year-Old Incredibly Lucky Indian Has Won A Lottery Worth $1 Million In Dubai

I have never believed in lotteries, but I do now. 

Meet the 25-year-old Dhaneesh Kotharamban who recently bagged a whopping USD 1 million in a raffle draw held in Dubai on Wednesday. The man has hit the jackpot.

Kotharamban was announced the winner alongside a Jordanian national who won USD one million too. The results were announced by Dubai Duty-Free (DDF) Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw and both have been declared the winners.

Also, just to rub it in, this was Kotharamban first-ever ticket that got him a million dollars. 

“I’ve never thought that I could win this big at such a young age! Thank God for this wonderful gift and thank you Dubai Duty-Free!” he was quoted as saying by the Khaleej Times from Kerala.

He works as an electrician in Dubai. 

This isn’t the first time that an India, that too a Keralite has won a lottery of such a big amount in Dubai. Earlier in January this year, another Keralite in the UAE won a whopping 20 crore lottery in the biggest raffle prize money in Abu Dhabi.
