Former TNA Tag Champion Adam “Pacman” Jones has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for his latest off-field incident. NFL officials have stated that he will be suspended for a minimum of four games.
Jones was suspended for the entire 2007-2008 season after he was involved in an altercation at a strip club that left a man paralyzed from the waist down. During his prior NFL suspension, he made several appearances for TNA Wrestling, but was not allowed to wrestle due to a clause in his contract with the Titans. He still managed to win and defend the TNA World tag team titles with Ron “R-Truth” Killings.
Jones was traded to the Dallas Cowboys during the offseason. Team owner Jerry Jones assigned security members to keep tabs on Jones and keep him out of trouble. Jones’ latest public altercation was actually with one of the security staff that was there to watch over him.
The league suspended him because alcohol was involved in the incident, which is a violation of his reinstatement terms.
