Agassi: 'Federer and Nadal are incredible, it will be sad when they..'

.

Rafa managed to beat Tomas Berdych in straight sets to stay on the title course, dominating against the Czech in sets one and two before sealing the deal in a much tighter third set where he had to save a set point. On the other hand, Roger Federer had no such fortune a few hours later, losing to the young Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in four sets to suffer his first Australian Open loss in three years, losing almost 2000 points to drop out from the top-five.

The American complimented both players once again, saying they are coming from an outstanding generation and that Tour will lose a lot after they retire, highlighting that the crowd should enjoy in every match they play. Im sick of being wrong, quite frankly.

These guys are redefining the bar and expectations, . Watching how Roger goes through his matches, its like he has another gear you never knew he had and he makes up for other areas that might not be like they once were.

But he makes a lot of good decisions out there. Rafa needs his body a lot more than Roger does just based on how he plays and his urgency, the physicality. Roger has more options to put less kilometers on his body. So all I can say is that when it comes to an end, it happens fast.

To say when thats going to happen, its not possible. Its an incredible generation. It will be sad when its gone. But theres always that anticipation of change. Sometimes the disappointment, too, of change, where it kind of stays open for a little while.

But you cant make those predictions and speculation. You just count your blessing today and see what happens.
