AJ Styles Calls Steve Austin an A**hole, Gets Stunned at Madison Square Garden

Things started hot and only got hotter as the biggest star in wrestling history returned to the world’s most famous arena, kicking off tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw in a huge way.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin wasted no time before marching to the ring this evening and opening a few cans of Broken Skull IPA in front of an absolutely electric New York crowd.

After telling some classic Madison Square Garden stories from his own career, the “Texas Rattlesnake” welcomed both Braun Strowman and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins to the ring in order to handle their business and sign the contract for their upcoming title match at Clash of Champions.

While Austin did finally get both champion and challenger to sign on the dotted line, it wouldn’t be Monday Night Raw if a contract signing didn’t end in utter chaos. Enter: The O.C.

United States Champion AJ Styles couldn’t resist heading down to the ring to confront a legitimate WWE Hall of Famer, of course surrounded by his lackeys Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

The “Phenomenal One” mocked Austin’s catchphrases and the fans chanting “WHAT?” throughout the segment, before telling ‘Stone Cold’ that he turned into an “asshole” in his old age. Good luck, buddy… Sure enough, an all-out brawl broke out with Rollins and Strowman taking out The O.C., leaving Styles alone in the ring with Steve Austin who was ready and waiting to deliver a Stone Cold Stunner that looked as good as it ever has.
