In an interview to the New York Times, the 25-year-old American player commented on possible retirement from tennis. Gibbs said: Im really bummed for him, individually, but Im also bummed for womens tennis because we just lost a huge spokesperson.
Not that hell be silent in his retirement I think hell remain really outspoken, and well appreciate that. But its nice to see a friendly male tennis player faces throughout the year, so that will be sorely missed for us.

On Murrays retirement, wrote: Well all forever remember the mark he left on our sport…but Ill also never forget the afternoon he carved out of his busy training schedule to help raise money for our kids foundation.
