Preconceived notions about men in khaki are rampant. More often than not people either do not trust them or just assume that they are inefficient. But this particular CISF officer is trumping this perception with his kind gesture.
On Monday, a Twitter user named Anubhav K Sharma shared a heartwarming story. After he landed at the airport, Sharma learnt that his luggage was lost during transit. Probably the worst thing to happen while travelling.
In such situations, most people either empathise or just walk away instead of lending a helping hand.
But, this CISF officer named Sunil Kumar, stepped just in time to help the man. Overwhelmed by Kumar’s selfless act, Sharma tweeted a picture with him.
In the tweet he said that the officer was just getting off duty, but that didn’t stop him from travelling all the way back, only to track his luggage. The story was an instant hit on Twitter and people heaped in praises on Sunil Kumar’s dedication.
‘Ye To Duty Hai Meri’ said Sunil Kumar, the country certainly needs more people like him! Hats off!
