With UFC officially announcing Phil “CM Punk” Brooks vs. Mike “The Truth” Jackson for UFC 225 in June, the odds makers have released their opening lines for the fight.
According to the betting experts at Bovada, the former WWE Superstar will walk into his second UFC fight as a 2-to-1 underdog, with odds set at +200, while Jackson is favored at -260.
What this means is that based on these current odds that you’d have to bet $260 to clear $100 profit on Jackson if he were to win. Conversely, a $100 bet on Punk would earn you $260 if he were to pull off the upset at UFC 225.
UFC 225: Whittaker vs. Romero 2, featuring CM Punk vs. Mike Jackson, goes down from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, June 9th.
