Fiber reinforced composite bearings

Grease free, self-lubricating and capable of withstanding extreme loads, fiber reinforced composite bearings are a suitable solution for a wide range of construction applications, including articulating joints, conveyors, linkage pins, steering cylinders and more.

Made using a proprietary winding process, fiber reinforced composite bearings use continuously-wound PTFE and high strength fibers encapsulated in epoxy resin to create a material that provides excellent shock, misalignment and contamination resistance, as well as very good friction and wear properties.

Lighter, smaller and more durable than rolling element bearings, they can reduce system cost and warranty claims for manufacturers. And because they’re maintenance free and less susceptible to dirt and debris, fiber reinforced composite bearings also reduce downtime and operational costs for end users, removing one more obstacle to meeting their deadlines. Bearings are also available with lip seals for extremely contaminated applications and environments.
