'I have done it once, why not do it again?' Djokovic eyes French Open title

feels ready to win his fourth Grand Slam title at the French Open in June. The Serb won the last three Grand Slams played – Wimbledon, US Open and Australian Open – and is now eyeing a new triumph in Paris that makes him recall good and bad memories.

I did put a lot of pressure on myself in the past and lost several finals in a row and then I managed to win it in 16, said Djokovic on Monday, not even 24 hours after triumphing in Melbourne. Winning French Open in 2016 was the biggest relief I ever left in my entire life, so the approach to the French Open this year will be quite different, I am just more experienced with this kind of situation.

I am blessed to be able to win 15, I know there are two guys ahead of me in the history of most Grand Slams won but I still have time. I dont want to sound arrogant but I have done it once, so not why do it again. I am just one Slam away from that and I am not the only one that has been in this situation before, Nadal and Federer have been holding three out of four many times throughout their careers, everything is possible in life so thats kind of philosophy I have.

Djokovic also spoke about his next plans: Anticipating the Grand Slams and living through in those three weeks takes a lot out of you, so the first thing I am gonna do is recharge my batteries and then obviously have time to reflect.

Djokovic now looks forward to taking a rest in Serbia: I am looking forward to being in my country, spending time with my parents, with all my family and people. I will hold my racket again later when I come back home and I will start dealing with toys, diapers and other things, Djokovic joked speaking about his family made up of him, wife Jelena and two children, Stefan and Tara.

How did Stefan, a four-year-old boy, react to the success? He reacted great, but he was more interested to show me his bike. He told me: Good, my dear, but now I go on it He always brings a smile on my face.

I also feel gratitude and pleasure for winning the tournament. I did not have too much time to look back at everything. I saw what was said and how people perceived this success, it was a great pleasure for me to follow it.

I went to sleep late, but I had enough hours of sleep. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
