Kim Kardashian teases possible new Kanye West album

All hail Yeezus.

Kim Kardashian has fans of hubby Kanye West shaking after posting a picture that appears to be a track list for the rapper’s long-awaited album.

The picture, taken from West’s perspective, shows a notebook open to a page titled “Jesus Is King.” Below it is a list of what appears to be song titles. The list ends with a date: Sept. 27.

Although the handwritten notes could be a set for his Sunday Service sessions, Sept. 27 is a Friday.

If it ends up being a musical release, “Jesus Is King” would be West’s first full-length album since his 2016 gospel work, “The Life of Pablo.” In 2018, he released “Ye,” a seven-song album of his sessions in Wyoming, where he produced four other works with artists Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, Nas and Kid Cudi.

Last September, West announced a follow-up to “Pablo” called “Yandhi” (a combination of Ye plus Gandhi, à la his 2013 album “Yeezus”). Two months went by with no album and since then, there has been no word on its due date.

But this week, news of the long-awaited album surfaced, even before Kim spilled the beans: Demos between Kanye and Pusha T were leaked online.

“I hate it,” Pusha T wrote on Twitter. “Luckily we are talented beyond measure and can always cook up more. But I honestly hate it for the sake of making an event of a song or project, it ruins all that we have in store for u guys.”

But Kanye appears to be moving ahead with this one anyway. The photo posted by Kim also follows a similar theme of handwritten track titles. In 2016, West would tweet out pictures in the same style, with track lists for “Pablo” as he was working on them.

According to Rolling Stone, West performed “Water” on Easter at a Sunday Service performance.

In the image Kardashian tweeted, another notebook is seen with possible lyrics written out.

“Slaying the demons/changing opinions,” one passage reads.

“Defend/all who calls on,” reads another.

“He will defend/and keep safe/all who call on his name,” says a third.

On the left side of the work space is a Bible open to Psalm 57:6: “They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down. They have dug a pit before me, into the midst whereof they themselves are fallen. Selah,” according to BibleGateway.com.

Fans are already going nuts over the prospect of a new album.
