Maria Sharapova to play in St. Petersburg despite injury – Medvedev

The WTA St. Petersburg Open Tournament Director is confident that will compete in the Russian tournament. The five-time Major winner retired during her quarter-final match last week against Aryna Sablenka at the Shenzhen Open due to a thigh injury but she is back to practice in Melbourne ahead of the Australian Open.
