Marvel is auctioning off props from cancelled Netflix shows

Bad luck for a trio of Marvel TV shows is good news for rabid memorabilia collectors.

Marvel and Prop Store are auctioning off over 850 authentic props from ill-fated Netflix shows including “Daredevil”, “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist”.

The auction includes costumes, set decorations and props from Marvel’s Netflix lineup.

The first iteration of Matt Murdock’s Daredevil costume — one of the most expensive items in the catalog — starts at $10,000 and is estimated to bring in $30,000-$50,000, while the tank where Luke Cage was experimented on starts at $6,000 with estimates between $12,000 and $15,000.

However, there are plenty of more affordable items, such as Murdock’s cassette recorder, which starts at $150, and Elektra Natchios’ robe at $250.

Online bidding has already started but prospective buyers can also register for absentee bidding or bid over the phone during the live television auction on Aug. 12-13.

Marvel pulled the plug on its Netflix shows last year, which included “Daredevil,” “Luke Cage,” “Iron Fist,” “Jessica Jones” and “The Punisher”.
