Greta Thunberg, Laverne Cox, Christy Turlington, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Salma Hayek, Adwoa Aboah ou encore Jane Fonda : l’artiste de 74 ans a réalisé les quinze différents portraits au mois de juin, entre Londres, Stockholm et New York. Et c’est par téléphone que Meghan Markle a transmis ses directives artistiques pour les séances photo. “Mes instructions de la part de la duchesse étaient claires : ‘Je veux voir des tâches de rousseur !’ Et bien, c’était comme enfoncer des portes ouvertes pour moi. J’adore les taches de rousseur (…). Je déteste les retouches, je déteste le maquillage. Je dis toujours, ‘Retirez le maquillage !’“
