A mixed tag team match between two married couples is set to go down at Impact 1000.
Impact Wrestling has announced that their 1000th episode will feature a tag match with Frankie Kazarian & Traci Brooks facing Eddie Edwards & Alisha Edwards. Brooks issued a challenge for the match after Alisha helped Eddie defeat Kazarian at Impact's Emergence event. Brooks said she won't be a nostalgia act returning to the ring — she'll be a pissed off wife who is going to kick Alisha's ass.
This will be the first time Brooks has wrestled since 2012.

Eddie defeated Kazarian in a Back to School match at Emergence this past weekend. It was taped at Killer Kowalski's wrestling school in Massachusetts and was billed as a way for Kazarian and Eddie to finally settle their issues. Kazarian and Eddie were both trained by the late Kowalski.
After helping Eddie win the Back to School match, Alisha attacked Kazarian with a kendo stick.
Impact's 1000th episode is being filmed at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York on Saturday, September 9. Here's what's been announced for the show so far:
