Personal Shopper Picks – Client Favorite Items – Many On Sale!

My job has many titles: fashion consultant, wardrobe stylist, personal shopper, and of course, personal stylist. I was recently talking to a client about how he found me. It turns out, he had never heard of a personal stylist or personal shopper, but he knew something like that had to exist so he Googled various phrases like, “person who tells me how to dress” and “clothes consultant”. His descriptions had me laughing and I had to share. Anyhoo, below is a list of my favorite items I have put on clients recently with the official Personal Shopper stamp of approval!

I am gaga for this Halogen Relaxed V-Neck Cashmere Sweater. This is one of the two sweaters I added to my wardrobe this season. It’s soft, sexy, and all my clients are loving it as much as I do.

Sizing Tip: Runs very large. Order 1-2 sizes down, depending on how you want the fit. I have a size 14 client who ended up in a size small because she is shorter and enjoyed the fitted look. As a size 6 woman, I also chose to wear the small because I liked the looser look.

This Lafayette 148 New York Trista Lambskin Leather Jacket is so absolutely sexy and COOL. The length looks great with jeans and dresses. Just wear a shorter top or tuck your shirt in if you want to wear it with pants. It is available at Saks 5th Avenue, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale’s (plus size, here).

Every single fall and winter I comb the Nordstrom brand for the most delicious cashmere blend scarves. These Nordstrom Tissue Print Wool & Cashmere Wrap Scarfs are so soft and chic. I even had one of my clients order four of the eight prints available.

1822 Denim High Waist Coated Skinny Jeans

These 1822 Denim High Waist Coated Skinny Jeans are my favorite pair of colored leather pants this season. They’re comfortable, inexpensive as all hell, and lusciously stylish.

Hinge Foil Print Volume Top

This Hinge Foil Print Volume Top took me by surprise. I think it is the only sparkly shirt I have ever liked. The top blouses perfectly when tucked in, and the color and print are unique, flattering, and versatile. I can’t wait to see it with white jeans or tucked into a denim pencil skirt. Tip: If you want an open neck, simply turn the top around and wear it backwards.
