Supermoon Brightens Up The Skies In India – Here’s How It Looked!

India witnessed a supermoon last night and it was beautiful! A supermoon is a full moon at a point in its orbit when it’s closest to the earth. This is the only supermoon of 2017. According to NASA, this celestial phenomenon makes the moon appear 7 percent larger and 15 percent brighter than the average full moon. It also appears to be 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than the Micromoon, which is when the full moon is at the point in its orbit when it’s farthest from the earth.
