The Queen is going to WrestleMania.
Charlotte Flair outlasted 29 other Superstars and returning legends on Sunday night at the WWE Royal Rumble, winning the annual bout for the very first time to punch her ticket to a championship match on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

This year’s all-female Rumble match saw some huge surprises including Beth Phoenix and Mighty Molly, as well as a full-blown invasion from Team NXT featuring names like Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, Mia Yim and of course the “Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler, who made it to the final two.
Winning a Royal Rumble match is one of the biggest accolades that any WWE Superstar can aspire to, and Flair adds to an impressive resume that already includes the NXT Championship, the now-defunct WWE Divas Championship, four reigns as Raw Women’s Champion and another five with the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
This will be the fifth year in a row that Flair is a major part of the April Classic. WrestleMania 32 saw her defeat both Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match, WrestleMania 33 saw her in a Fatal 4-Way match, and of course at WrestleMania 34 the “Queen” ended the undefeated streak of Asuka.
WrestleMania 35 saw Flair make history along with UFC legend Ronda Rousey and “The Man” Becky Lynch, as the three became the first women in history to headline WWE’s biggest annual pay-per-view.
