Uber driver busted for sexually abusing young passenger

A Connecticut Uber driver was arrested for sexually assaulting a juvenile passenger he was driving home, police said.

The driver, 31-year-old Dwaine Miller, picked up the girl from a party on Stonewall Lane in Fairfield on Saturday and began making unwanted sexual advances during the ride home, cops said.

Miller, who is a convicted felon, then allegedly tried to force the girl onto the driver’s-side seat and had unwanted sexual contact with the girl, authorities said.

The girl’s father reported the incident to police and Miller, who lives in Bridgeport, was arrested soon after.

Miller was charged with third-degree sexual assault and posted $5,000 bail, cops said.

He’s due back in court July 26.

The driver has previous arrests for robbery, assault and burglary.

“What’s been reported to police is horrible and is something no one should go through. The driver’s access to the app has been removed. We will fully cooperate with the Fairfield Police Department’s ongoing investigation,” an Uber spokeswoman said.
