It’s time for the NEW Universal Champion, The Big Dog, Roman Reigns! Roman comes out to a chorus of boos as usual, but this time it’s different as he walks out as champion. He takes a second to look at the title before holding it above his head. The music stops and the boos are LOUD tonight. Roman has a mic and the crowd chants “you suck” with some mixed cheers in there. Roman says that he is a man of his word, and he said he was going to beat Brock Lesnar, and that’s exactly what he did. The crowd chants “YOU STILL SUCK” at Roman, but the cameras only show pro-Roman signs and fans.

Roman goes on to say that he said that when he won the championship, that he would defend it, which he is going to do tonight. He says normally he would open it up for anyone to step up, but he wants to defend it against a man who won the title here in Brooklyn, but he got hurt and never has had another opportunity. He says he wants to defend his championship against Finn Balor.

The crowd goes crazy, and out comes Finn Balor! Balor says that he accepts Roman’s challenge, and he is going to take back his title….TONIGHT! The two shake hands, but out comes Constable Baron Corbin! He tells everyone to calm down, and even if everyone wants to see this match, tonight it’s not going to happen.

He says that he is not going to be rewarded for the stunt he pulled last night, because he was prepared to face off against Finn Balor the man, but instead he brought the Demon, which was unfair. He says that due to the smoke and lights he was disoriented and couldn’t even hear the bell ring, so as far as he’s concerned, the match never happened. He says that tonight, HE is going to go one on one with Finn Balor.

Out comes Kurt Angle, who says that Corbin doesn’t make the matches, he does. He says that he doesn’t care WHAT Corbin thinks, but he cares about what Brooklyn thinks. He asks them if they want to see Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship TONIGHT. The crowd goes insane, and he says that that match will be the main event. He tells Corbin that he will also have a match, and that match starts right now….against BOBBY LASHLEY!

BARON CORBIN vs. BOBBY LASHLEY

Lashley powers Corbin to the mat right away and then starts to slam the head of Corbin into 3 different corners of the turnbuckle Corbin escapes the ring to collect himself, but Lashley follows him out of the ring and Lashley hits Corbin with a right hand and tosses him back in the ring. Lashley gets back in and he runs into Corbin, shoulder first.

Corbin drops and kicks Lashley in the knee, sending him out of the ring. Corbin gets out of the ring to follow and sends Lashley right into the barricade. Corbin throws Lashley back in, and he puts in a rear chin lock on Lashley.Lashley tries to fight back, but he’s met with a knee by Corbin. Corbin sends Lashley off the ropes and Lashley leapfrogs over the Constable and Corbin turns around into a clothesline.

Both men get up and Lashley is sent hard through the ropes to the outside, Corbin follows and hits Lashley with a clothesline on the outside.  Corbin throws Lashley back in and locks in another rear chin lock on Lashley. Lashley tries fighting back, but Corbin just tosses Lashley shoulder first into the ring post. He tries to do it again in the other corner, but Lashley reverses, sending Corbin into the ring post himself. Corbin turns around and runs into a big spinebuster by Lashley. Lashley climbs to the top rope and dives at Corbin, but Corbin turns it into a chokeslam back breaker.

Corbin gets sent to the outside, but quickly comes back in to hit Lashley, but Lashley surprises Corbin with a dominator to pick up the victory.

Winner: Bobby Lashley
