WEST CHESTER, PA — A 32-year-old West Chester man was arrested on charges of assaulting two women and grabbing a cell phone from one of the women on July 7.
Gerardo Guzman-Gonzalez is in Chester County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of robbery, assault, and related offenses.
Police said Guzman-Gonzalez assaulted two women in the early morning on July 7 in the first block of North Church Street. Police were called to the scene at 7:20 a.m.

During the first assault, police said, he grabbed one of the victim’s cell phones. Police said he had the cellphone on him when he was arrested.
